Product arriving at the LEGUMEX process center is taken over by our strict quality control team. All products are checked for freshness, quality, and then properly stored until ready for process. Third party auditors from local and independent sources inspect our state of the art production facility regularly. We leave ourselves no room for error, and once a year have an AIB Audit; please feel free to contact us in order to provide more information regarding our AIB grade and Certification.
This unique relationship makes LEGUMEX the only company that can control the quality and ensure the satisfaction of any product sold under the LEGUMEX label.
Adding to the strength of our procurement program are our Quality Control (QC) teams located at each working and processing area. When product arrives at the dock, the QC team begins the inspection process. They check to ensure that the product has traveled at the correct temperature; check the ripeness, test the sugar levels of the fruit, as well as size, grade, and general appearance of the product. Once the product is ready to be processed, the QC team will inspect it once again. These same procedures apply for the Blanching and Freezing process, as well as for the Packing Area.
